Message from the Executive Director

Dear Member,

Welcome to the NFBPA Web site.

One of the most valuable aspects of your NFBPA membership is your access to a powerful national network of Black public administrators. The value of that network is enhanced by its accuracy. We need your help to update our membership database.  If you have not yet taken the time to explore the member-only area, log in and explore it today. Simply click the “Member Login” link at the very top of the NFBPA Web site. The system will prompt you for your last name and your member identification number.  If you can’t locate or don’t remember your identification number, you will be asked to provide your e-mail address so that the ID number can be sent to you. If your membership has lapsed, you will not be able to access your file.  If, after these attempts, you still need assistance, please call us at (202) 408-9300; our staff will be happy to assist you.

Upon logging in, the system will welcome you and present the options (Member Resources) you see below. Whenever any of your contact information changes, please click the “Edit My Profile” link. This lets us keep the membership directory as up to date as possible. One important tip: please do not create a second ID number as updates to your file will be located in two different places – one without our knowledge.

Member Resources:

  • Renew Membership
  • Edit Your Member Directory Listing
  • Edit Your Contact Information for NFBPA Correspondence
  • Access Full-Text Articles Online for “The Forum” Magazine
  • Member Directory
  • NFBPA Message Board
  • Register for Conferences & Meetings
  • Search for a Job
  • Links of Interest
  • Application for Membership

Please know that your staff at NFBPA would love to hear from you regarding any other items that would benefit members by being placed in the members only area of the web site. E-mail your suggestions to webmaster@nfbpa.org. We look forward to serving you!
