THE FORUM
The Forum magazine is NFBPA's informative and widely-read quarterly publication. Since it's establishment in 1984, The Forum has been used as a means of polishing and honing the skills of capable and experienced administrators by providing practical advice on professional development and insight on social and economic concerns impacting the Black community. The publication strives to present timely, factual, and comprehensive information on subjects of critical importance to its readers who share a common commitment to excellence in public service. It has been used as a means of researching some of the critical management issues and challenges of the public administration profession, as well as exploring solutions to some or all of these issues. The publication has addressed topics ranging from Economic Development and Urban Renewal, Education, Healthcare, Disaster Preparedness and Relief, Information Techonology and covered major policy issues and events such as Affirmative Action, Innovation in Government, Elections and Natural Disasters.
