A Message to NFBPA Members and Supporters

In 1994, when I was a graduate student at Florida State University, I was fortunate to have a seasoned public administrator and NFBPA member, Anita Favors, expose me to the many benefits and rigors of public service. Within a year, she introduced me to NFBPA, which has allowed me to be a part of a powerful national network and broaden my horizons in the field of public administration.

I give to NFBPA in time, talents, and funds because I wouldn’t be where I am today if NFBPA and my mentors had not remembered me. I encourage you to give the new generation of public administrators the same opportunity to expand their horizons.

A Commitment to Public Service

Dear Members & Friends,

For nearly 30 years the National Forum for Black Public Administrators has been dedicated to achieving excellence in public administration. Strengthening the position of Blacks in public administration, increasing the appointment of Blacks to executive positions in public service and grooming and preparing younger emerging administrators for public service careers is noble work, but work that also requires resources.

Won’t you help continue this important and valuable NFBPA mission?

Your support is needed more than ever before.  Please consider a tax-deductible contribution and help keep the NFBPA mission working to insure excellence in public administration. Save time and postage. To contribute online, click here.

Or mail your contribution to NFBPA-DGP, 777 North Capitol St., NE, Suite 807, Washington, DC 20002.

We thank you in advance for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Aretha R. Ferrell-Benavides
NFBPA President
