Welcome to NFBPA

The mission of the NFBPA is embodied in the organization's commitment to strengthen the position of Blacks within the field of public administration; to increase the number of Blacks appointed to executive positions in public service organizations; and, to groom and prepare younger, aspiring administrators for senior public management posts in the years ahead.

Join Us for FORUM 2015

FORUM 2015 - NFBPA’s annual conference offering outstanding content infused with professional collaboration, social networking and leadership recognition.

The National Forum for Black Public Administrators is the principal and most progressive organization dedicated to the advancement of black public leadership in local and state governments. NFBPA administrators are on the frontline working to solve pressing community and human service issues. In support of these administrators, NFBPA provides training and other professional development programs, research and policy analysis and collegial networking. The capstone of the NFBPA efforts is its annual conference, the FORUM.

Join us as we convene for FORUM 2015 in Tampa, FL on April 22-26. Hundreds of appointed administrators, elected officials, nonprofit professionals as well as scholars and students will gather at NFBPA’s annual conference to hear quality speakers, participate in enriching workshops and educational opportunities, and attend exciting events and awards ceremonies.
