Simone Wilson is a creative public administrator with experience in marketing and communications, project management, community engagement, and the entertainment industry.
Her most recent roles include serving as a Public Information Officer for the City of Austin's Economy Recovery Strike Team and pioneering marketing efforts for COVID-19 economic recovery grant programs. Additionally spending time in the City of Austin's Office of the City Manager, serving on the Re-Imagining Public Safety Initiative as Project Coordinator where she guided staff through a cross-departmental analysis of the Taskforce recommendations.
Her tenure with the City of Austin began in 2016 as a Marketing and Outreach Program Specialist for the Economic Development Department’s Music & Entertainment Division. Her responsibilities led her to bridge the gap between the city’s government offices and its musical counterparts. She produced the Division’s monthly panel series featuring local musicians in various genres and industry leaders, as well as cultivated an ongoing relationship with one of Texas’ top concert promoters and festival producers, ScoreMore Shows.
Simone joined Live Nation Entertainment in January of 2020 and assisted with booking shows in Texas' largest markets – Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio.
