Membership in the National Network:
The opportunity to participate in a vibrant, National Network of the nation's most respected black public professionals and a unique forum in which to exchange management innovations, professional development techniques and skills-building strategies.
National Corporate Council Membership:
Each Business Member is entitled to one seat on the NFBPA National Corporate Council. An alternate may be designated to represent the corporate representative when necessary.
National Membership Directory:
An invaluable tool for networking with peers in public management, the directory contains an alphabetized listing of the association's membership. The Directory is also available in a state roster format. Customized excerpts of the membership directory are available upon request.
Subscription to The Forum Magazine:
NFBPA's informative and widely-read quarterly publication. Look to The Forum for practical advice on professional development and insight on social and economic concerns impacting state and local government and minority communities. The Forum also provides advertising opportunities. Advertising rates can be obtained from the national office.
Web Site Listing and Corporate Link:
As a business member you will be listed on the NFBPA web site (www.nfbpa.org) and have the opportunity to showcase the products and services you offer through a direct link to your corporate web site.
Local and Regional Chapters:
The NFBPA provides opportunity to associate with any of the 40 Local or Regional Chapters of the NFBPA. Chapter involvement provides another opportunity to build and strengthen relationships with local decision makers.
Participation in NFBPA Board Committees, Task Forces, Councils and Constituent Groups:
Provides opportunities to influence and contribute to the ongoing work of NFBPA, network with local decision-makers and develop relationships with a broad array of public administrators.
