FORUM 2020 Annual Conference Update on the Coronavirus

NFBPA Members and FORUM 2020 Attendees:

has made the decision to postpone our upcoming annual conference, FORUM 2020 "A Construct for Change" that was to be held in Austin, Texas, April 15 -19, 2020. The Conference now will be held October 8-12, 2020. NFBPA will continue to closely track information provided by federal, state, and local health officials on COVID-19. Please continue to check the NFBPA website for further updates and information on the upcoming conference.

FORUM 2020 Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is FORUM 2020 still taking place?

FORUM 2020 is postponed until October 8-13, 2020! It will still be held in Austin, Texas. We are excited to host our wonderful members, partners, sponsors and local participants, as we do annually.

Q: What happens to my FORUM 2020 registration?

If you have already registered, your attendance for the new FORUM 2020 dates are safe and secured. If you cannot attend FORUM 2020, your registration can also be applied to FORUM 2021.

Q: What happens to my FORUM 2020 hotel reservation?

If you’ve already made a reservation in the NFBPA room block, your hotel accommodations have been automatically transferred at the current room rate of $236 and your reservation has been updated reflecting the new dates.

Q: Can I still register for FORUM 2020?

Yes, you can! The Advanced Rate of $915.00 will be available until October 8th, 2020.

Q: Can my FORUM 2020 registration be refunded?

Currently, we have passed the cancellation deadline, however, NFBPA will allow all paid registrations to be applied to FORUM 2020’s new dates, October 8-13, 2020.  If you would prefer, you may instead apply your registration to FORUM 2021.

Q: Contacting the National Office with a question about FORUM 2020?

In an effort to protect the health and well-being of staff and members, the National Office will begin operating on a virtual basis beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020. Rest assured, we are not suspending or closing operations. NFBPA will continue to serve you and conduct our business on a remote basis for the next 3 weeks. To contact a staff member please email here. Additionally, we will respond to all voicemails within one business day.

Q: What if I am a workshop presenter?

If you have submitted a workshop for FORUM 2020 you will be contacted via email regarding the status of workshop and presenters. The discount rate for workshop presenters will still apply.

Q: What is the status of the COVID-19 Virus on FORUM host city, Austin, TX?

We will continue to closely monitor the rapidly evolving situation in coordination with the local Austin and Travis County Officials and local and regional public health and healthcare agencies. ​
